Warranty and Post-Warranty Services

Backed by a large vendor base, and as an authorised service provider for our principals, we provide warranty services for the entire range of HP products and Acer PCs and peripherals which are within their warranty period as well as for those whose warranty has expired. We also provide service for out-of-warranty Acer notebooks*. We are also the authorised service centre for Motorola.

Our warranty services are based on three repair methods:
  • Return-to-bench – Customer brings in the product to the service centre and receives it after repair
  • Pickup and delivery – EDL picks up the product from the customer site and delivers it after repair
  • Onsite – EDL repairs/replaces the product at the customer site

Bench repairs are handled through our well-equipped service centres in Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Amman (Jordan) and Doha (Qatar). Our highly skilled engineers are trained to conduct onsite repairs with utmost priority to first time resolution and customer satisfaction.

All our engineers and technical team members carry the most recent vendor product certification, and have sufficient levels of expertise to ensure that your products receive the best possible service. In addition, technicians are continuously assessed against competence, awareness and training requirements as per EDL’s internal standards and/or training initiatives. This ensures that our engineers and technical team members are highly competent and abreast of the current market, latest technologies and applicable industry standards.

Warranty check:
You can verify your product’s warranty (i.e. on-site/ Pickup& delivery/ Return to bench) and extend it if it falls within the stipulated warranty extension period. Click here to check your product’s warranty status

Once the call is logged, you will be provided with a Job Tracking Number

Track your Job:
You can track the status of your job through online job tracker system. Click here to track job. EDL will send you an email or SMS notification when the repair is complete.
General instructions:
Always ensure that you have the following items ready to enable us to help you better:
  • Product serial number and product ID
  • Contact details
  • Warranty information
  • Job tracking number, if a call is already logged in
  • A copy or original invoice for availing warranty repair services
